AWARD WINNING TRIBUTE ARTIST

Ottawa's Dan Burgess has been an " Elvis Tribute Artists " for the better part of twenty years, but it has been only during the past seven years that he has begun to receive the recognition he deserves.

In 2003 Dan was the runner up at the Ottawa's Elvisfest... where the audience reaction firmly established him as the People Choice. Then in 2005 he captured first place over all at the People Choice Competition ( for E.T.A. ) sponsored by LadyLuckMusic.com in Montreal and won the Classic Division at Peterborough's famous KingFest!

Not surprisingly, Dan has enjoyed rave reviews from audiences as diverse as private parties, dances, receptions, fund raisers, telethons, corporate and service club events, community celebrations, Jamborees, festivals, dinner shows, wedding shows, and fall fairs.

Finally, while it is his Elvis persona which has achieved the most renown to date, Dan's mastery of the rich vocal tones, phrasing and power of Engelbert Humperdinck and many more singers is another indication of his amazing talent.

Dan has performed is first wedding, of Sarah and Patrick on October 28th, 2006 as Elvis.

Every year on January 8th Dan celebrates Elvis Birthday, also August 16th, the life of Elvis at the Newport Restaurant, with Moe Atallah and friends.

Dan has a big heart to help out some charities in the community.
